Description
March of the Red Baron, part 1. 1916 - Verdun. Newly-minted pilot Manfred von Richthofen is posted to a reconnaissance unit in the battle that has begun its bloody journey towards infamy. In the skies above, Richthofen joins other future-luminaries (Boelcke, Guynemer, etc…) in the first concerted effort of both sides to wrest control of the air from the other by fielding units of free-roaming fighters to shoot down the prying eyes of the enemy's observation planes -but at this stage of his career, the (green) Baron takes the role of prey instead of hunter in the fragile, doped-linen craft of the time. The performance of their mounts is a mere shadow of that to come, but the peril that waits in the air is just as deadly… In this Brawl Factory offering, the little guy in the model knows how to fly so the player doesn't have to...you choose WHAT you want to do, not HOW you want to do it. The rules used will be either the simple, Beer&Pretzel-style version or -if more "serious" gaming is desired by players- the more advanced version. Both are easy to learn and -as stated above- don't require any sort of flying knowledge / skill: if you know basic stuff like "hitting the ground is bad" and "you can't fly backwards" you should have no trouble playing!
